Elheist is a London-born musician, vocalist and DJ working across electronic music, experimental sound and underground club culture. Emerging from South London’s spoken-word scene, her early work fused poetry, rap and alternative electronic production, establishing a distinctive voice between language, rhythm and atmosphere.
Her practice now moves fluidly between recording, vocal performance, DJ sets and curatorial projects. Drawing on the lineages of dub, electro, Detroit techno, bass music and experimental club sound, Elheist’s sets unfold as immersive sonic journeys shaped by deep listening and cultural memory.
Her debut EP Wholesome Goody introduced a genre-bending approach to electronic music and alternative R&B, blending poetic lyricism with fractured club production.
Alongside releases and performances, she hosts the NTS Radio programme Quest No More, a broadcast space exploring the histories and evolving futures of electronic music and underground rhythm cultures.
Across music, radio and live environments, Elheist approaches sound as a living practice: where voice, rhythm and sound meet to create environments that are both intimate and exploratory.
